8th Wedding Anniversary

Today is our 8th Wedding Anniversary. My husband and I are just celebrating it via Skype. Yah, through the internet, the so-called Virtual Celebration! We are thousand of miles apart now, he is in Japan while I am in the Philippines. It is good that our WI-FI connection is as fast a bullet train and we can be connected to each other in just one click. Talking for hours in the internet is much better than talking through the phone. At least, with Skype, we see each other. We will be having a dinner in a little while but we will have different food and drink. Hahaha, what a good way to celebrate our wedding anniversary even if we are distance apart. My Daughter's 4th Birthday

It's the 4th birthdya of my baby today. She celebrated it at Jollibee. The birthday celebration at Jollibee was a surprise for her. Happy Birthday my Princess!

all Souls Day

it's part of our Filipino tradition to visit the tomb of our loved ones at the cemetery come All Saints and Souls Days on November 1 and 2, respectively. We offer flowers to the dead as sa signof respect.

70th birthday of Tatay

Valentine's Day is also the birthday of my dear father. Today is his 70th birthday and it's quite a celebration. For a long time, my father never had big celebrations for his birthday. His past birthdays were mostly spent with the family. This year's birthday celebration is different and special. It's a thanksgiving for his his dear life since my father has been in bed (bedridden) for more than two years now. My siblings and I are thankful to our Almighty that he is given another year of his life. Happy birthday Tatay.

It's my birthday today

It's my 38th birthday today. The cake in the picture isn't my birthday cake. It was the birthday cake of my daughter who had her 3th birthday last December 11, 2008. For the past many years, I always had parties ( small or big depending on who came)during my birthday but this year is quite different. I just had a lunch date with my husband and will have a simple dinner with my family at home. Happy birthday to me!
